SDAPI Culinary Fusion Festival 2016

CFF

The “API Culinary Fusion Festival” is a showcase of delicious Asian and Pacific Islander (API) dishes from local restaurants in San Diego County that have been modified to give our diners a healthier and delicious alternative to the foods we may know and love. Our most recent festival in May 2015 included a total of 5 local favorite restaurants: Pho Hanoi, Tio Chino’s, Asia Cafe, Manila Sunset, and Sang Dao. Guests had the opportunity to try these dishes and be entertained by various API acts through song and ethnic dances as well as participate in an opportunity drawing for various prizes.

Since the festival’s start in 2008, attendance has grown from 40 participants at our community forum, to well over 250 participants in recent year’s events. Attendees include key, influential leaders of the Asian and Pacific Islander communities of San Diego, various political leaders that serve many regions of San Diego County and nationwide as well as leaders from institutes of higher learning, representing various local universities.

This year, our theme is “Making Healthy Choices with Traditional Flavors”  Our celebration of healthy living and cultural entertainment is fun for the family every year! The event will be held on September 17 from 10am-3pm at the Market Creek Plaza (310 Euclid Ave. San Diego, CA 92114). Tell your friends and family and get ready for a day of culture and food!!!

Entertainment Acts, Raffles, and Participating Restaurants will be announced soon!
